Payments

Payments made to your account(s) will usually be posted within 24 hours after your online payment has cleared your credit card issuer. Overpayments will be credited to your account(s).

You are responsible for timely payments on your account as indicated on your bill. If your payment is not processed by the due date on your bill, you will be treated in accordance with Regional Utilities late payment policies as stated on your Application of Service.

Acknowledgement

You acknowledge that these Terms and Conditions are supported by reasonable and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged. Without limiting the foregoing, you acknowledge that such consideration includes, without limitation, your use of the Company’s website, receipt of data, access to materials and information made available through the use the Company’s website, the possibility of our review, use or display of your Submissions (as defined below in the section labeled “Submissions ”), and the possibility of publicity and promotion from our review, use or display of your Submissions.

Site Security 

As part of website security, you must agree to provide and maintain on record, current and accurate personal information as requested during the account registration process. If you provide any information which is inaccurate or outdated, or if we have reasonable grounds to question the truthfulness the information provided, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse all current or future use of the website. You also agree to promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your username, password, or other account information, or any other breach of security that you become aware of involving or related to the Company’s website.

All information, content and materials contained on the Company’s website are the property of Regional Utilities or its licensors and is protected under U.S. and international copyright law. None of the information, content or material from the Company’s website or any internet site owned, operated, licensed, or controlled by the Company may be copied, reproduced, republished, posted, transmitted or distributed in any way without our express written permission. The use of any information, content or materials on the Company’s website on any other web site or computer environment without our express written permission (which may be withheld for any reason) is strictly prohibited.

Use of the Company’s website for commercial purposes in any way is prohibited.

The following is a list of rules you MUST follow to use the Company website. By using the Company website, you represent the following:

You will not submit or transmit any software or other computer files that contain a virus or other harmful component or otherwise impair or damage the Company website or any connected network or otherwise interfere with any person or entity's use or enjoyment of the Company website.

You will not access another person’s account or use another person’s username and password or other account information without that person’s express written consent.  In addition, if the person’s whose account you are authorized to access is a customer of you or your company, your consent and ability to access that person’s account or information or to use their username and password will terminate as soon as that person is no longer a customer of you or your company.
The Company has the right to request proof of written consent for access to another person’s account, information, username or and/or password at any time, and the Company has the right to suspend and/or terminate your access to the Company website until the Company, in its sole discretion, is satisfied this condition is met.
You may not use this website or any of the content obtained from this website, including account information or data, for the purpose of competing with the Company or any of its affiliates or subsidiaries.
You will not delete any legal notices, disclaimers or proprietary notices such as copyright or trademark symbols, or modify any logos that you do not own or have express permission to modify.
You may not use any software, bots, spiders, web-crawlers or any other similar data mining software, tools or applications to monitor, copy, or otherwise mine any information contained on the Company website without prior express permission of the Company.
You will not submit or transmit any information or communication that is in violation of these Terms and Conditions.
You will not engage in (or attempt to engage in) any type of criminal activity within the Company website.
 

The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate and block access to the Company website for any violation of the Terms and Conditions.

We cannot and do not assure that other users are or will follow the Company website rules or any other provisions of these Terms and Conditions, and, as between you and the Company, you hereby assume all risk of harm or injury resulting from any other person’s lack of compliance which causes you harm.

To the extent that any feature on the Company website requires you to submit your e-mail address to send an e-mail or message, you must, and you hereby agree to, furnish your actual e-mail address, as applicable.

Submissions to Regional Utilities’ Website

While we value feedback from our customers, it is the policy of Regional Utilities not to accept or consider any unsolicited ideas, proposals, or materials. This includes, but is not limited to, concepts, suggestions, pitches, photographs, drawings, videos, audiovisual works, or other creative content (“Unsolicited Materials”).

This policy is intended to prevent potential misunderstandings or disputes when projects developed by Regional Utilities may appear similar to ideas submitted by others. Accordingly, we respectfully request that you do not send us any Unsolicited Materials.

If you choose to submit Unsolicited Materials despite this policy, you acknowledge and agree that:

You acknowledge and agree that these Terms and Conditions, along with any transactions or interactions conducted through the Regional Utilities website, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its choice of law provisions. By using the Regional Utilities website, you further agree that any dispute, claim, or legal proceeding arising out of or relating to your use of the website or its content shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Walton County, Florida. You hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue or jurisdiction, including objections based on forum non conveniens.

Termination 

These Terms and Conditions remain in effect until terminated by Regional Utilities, which may occur at any time and for any reason, in our sole and absolute discretion. You may terminate these Terms and Conditions at any time by ceasing all use of the Regional Utilities website and destroying any materials obtained from the site, including all related documentation and copies, whether created under these Terms or otherwise.
